The New Jersey Legislature is currently in a “lame duck” session – those last few weeks before the next two-year legislative session begins and a new legislature is seated in accordance with the November 2021 election.
There is a flurry of activity at this time, with bills moving quickly and only a few session (committee or full chamber meeting) days left. To view NJAMHAA’s priorities during this waning session, please visit our Current Advocacy/Issues page.
Once the new session begins and bills are introduced/reintroduced, including the FY2023 budget, NJAMHAA willprovide updates accordingly and inform you of actions you can take to support our advocacy.
